Delete your account

Open Pragati and go to Profile → Data & privacy → Delete my account. You’ll be asked to confirm with your password. Deletion happens immediately; there is no waiting period and no way to undo it.

Sign in at app.getpragati.com/profile and use the same Data & privacy → Delete my account section. You do not need to install the app.

Email contact@getpragati.com from the address on the account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify ownership before acting and complete the request within 30 days — usually within a few working days.

Your name, email, phone number, profile picture, password, login sessions and devices, bookmarks, notes, and any posts or comments you made. Your account can no longer be signed into, and your personal details are removed from our systems.

Your quiz and exam history is anonymised rather than deleted — it stays in the system with every link to you removed, so per-question difficulty statistics stay accurate for other students. It can no longer be traced back to you.

We also keep payment and invoice records where Nepali tax and accounting law requires it. Those are retained for the statutory period and are not used for anything else.

Deleting your account stops any further use of your advertising ID by us. You can also reset or delete the advertising ID itself at any time from your Android settings — that is controlled by your device, not by us. See our Privacy Policy for what is shared with Google AdMob.

If you want a copy of your data before deleting, use Profile → Data & privacy → Export my data. It downloads every quiz attempt, bookmark and stat as JSON. Once the account is deleted this is no longer possible.
